ACW offers Group Classes throughout the school year, Private Lessons through Dr. Shomper’s studio and the Annapolis Cello Choir, open to all ages and abilities!
Group Classes
Beginning this fall, ACW is providing group classes! This semester we are offering a beginner’s class designed for students just picking up the cello for the first time, or for students who have school and orchestra experience but have never had private lessons — but at a fraction of the cost! Designed for students ages 6 - 12, but anyone may apply. You may sign up for one class per week or two (recommended). Classes will meet Wednesdays from 6pm - 7pm and Saturdays from 10am - 11am beginning 9/11 and 9/14 and the semester ends mid December.
1 Session Per Week - $380 for the semester
2 Sessions Per Week - $675 for the semester
Annapolis Cello Choir
Starting up on September 11, 2024! This ensemble is open to all ages and levels of experience. The Cello Choir will meet Wednesdays from 7pm - 8:30pm at AACC in the Cade Building. Parts will be assigned that are within your comfort level or appropriately challenging, and we will prepare for an end of the semester performance, as well as community outreach performances. Regular attendance requested, but not r equired!
