ACW celebrates our faculty’s first passion — performance! Come celebrate the artistry and mastery of their instrument that make them such spectacular teachers! In addition to the concert series, you may hire musicians for intimate, at home concerts, as well as a centerpiece for a fundraising event!
Concert Series
Annapolis Cellovision Workshop is proud to present our 2024-2025 Concert Series! Concerts will feature Daniel Shomper performing an all Czech program, the complete Bach Suites with Nicole Boguslaw, Pei Lu and Daniel Shomper, a recital with Nicole Boguslaw and our annual New Music Maryland concert featuring the works of Jerry Ascione. Bach on the Dock!
Doesn’t have to be Bach, nor on a Dock! Daniel Shomper will perform repertoire for solo cello in unique and intimate settings! Perfect for a nice waterfront locale, park, garage or living room. Have a nice piano? Space for a quartet? Daniel can be joined by his frequent collaborators for a unique concert experience. A perfect centerpiece for a small gathering or fundraising eventvels!
Pairings with Chef Randy!
Combine any of the Bach on the Dock options with food! Chef Randy Kliewer and Daniel will collaborate to create a program and menu to satisfy all of the senses!
New Music Maryland
A passion project for Dr. Shomper for many years, New Music Maryland seeks to commission and premiere new works from composers, as well as celebrate and present recent or under performed compositions. This year we are featuring works for cello and piano by Jerry Ascione. Performance dates coming soon!
